At Austin Center for CBT, we offer state-of-the-art cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) tailored to each individual or couple. CBT is an empirically supported approach for addressing a range of issues that can interfere with people’s lives. CBT is a good fit for results-oriented individuals and couples who want to actively participate in their treatment. If you are seeking therapy and think we might be a good fit for you, please give us a call. We are happy to answer questions, discuss treatment options, or set up an initial consultation session.
Together, we create a personalized plan of treatment for your unique challenges and goals. This treatment plan is informed by current research findings as well as your priorities and preferences. Typically, CBT involves focusing on thoughts and behaviors that lead to difficulties, then learning new skills and strategies to help you better navigate challenging situations and emotions. Practicing and refining skills between sessions for homework is a fundamental element of CBT.
